Married duo Zaena x Jason Maek like to joke that they are “not cool enough” to have a duo band name. This is true, insofar as they are two of the hottest performers/music entrepreneurs on the scene. Add hardest working – the couple made their name producing new music biweekly on YouTube. Between making music, they founded Shuffle, one of the largest partnership agencies in North America, and have plans for a podcast network to showcase the voices of people of colour. This year, they had the top three songs trending on TikTok (Ooh La La, Good Morning, and the aptly-titled TikTok).
