In this panel, Breaking Down Racial Barriers founders David “Click” Cox & Ian Andre Espinet will present the FINDINGS of the CIMA commissioned BDRB report on anti-Black racism in the Canadian music industry. We will discuss recommendations for creating a more equitable music industry, practical everyday actions that small companies and corporations can utilize, and “Next Steps”, Canadian Independent Music Association‘s upcoming FREE industry EDI professional development workshops for the industry, aimed at building a more equitable Canadian music industry.
