Infusing Cannabis into the Live Event Business
The old image of pot haze hanging over a concert crowd is particularly anachronistic now that cannabis is legal and available almost everywhere. Available in infused-beverage and edible form, its marketers seek to be treated like other concessions at events. But big alcohol companies still have the upper hand with regulations that allow them to sponsor and advertise where cannabis companies can’t. This session will examine the level of acceptance we’ve achieved, where we want to be, and the steps we need to take to level the playing field at live events.
