In a little more than three years since joining Capital Music Group as Chair/CEO, the likes of Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Beck and Five Seconds of Summer lifted the label to #2, its highest ranking in decades. He even renovated the iconic Capitol Records Tower. As Katy Perry said of Barnett, “It's nice to have a head in there who knows what the f---k they’re doing.”
