Txnic is a songwriter, artist and engineer from Toronto, Canada. He grew up in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and his music is greatly influenced by his Caribbean upbringing. Exposure to various genres of music such as Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop and RnB from an early age helped diversify his sonic expressions. He became highly influenced by the American Hip Hop culture and began rapping around 2009. He spent 4 days recording vocals and by being alone, he learned to engineer, mix and to master his music. During the learning process he released his debut track, Someday, on June 23rd 2015. Within the span of 4 years, Txnic has performed at over 100 different shows at places such as: Nathan Phillips, ROM, University of Guelph, Seneca College, in Brooklyn and in St. Vincent.
