Indie Rock
Old East is an Indie-Rock project that was started by Bradon Dougherty in the spring of 2015, when he and long-term friend David Partridge decided to record a five song full band EP. The lineup was then completed when Bradon Dougherty met James Brown, Nolan Peake & Gabe Beneteau through Fanshawe’s Music Industry Arts program. Old East is a new projection of rock n’ roll with a dedication to groove and a hard hitting back beat that even the most uncoordinated can dance to. Within the first year of playing together Old East played Canadian Music Week 2016 and have played in various venues around London and Toronto including the legendary Horseshoe Tavern. Together they share an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards writing and playing music which transfers over into their live performances. Currently the band is working hard in the studio in order to release their highly anticipated upcoming record. From catchy pop melodies to an “in your face” punk attitude, Old East is there to turn your bad feelings into good ones.
