King Dylan is an award-winning Calgary-based Alternative Hip-Pop musician with a taste for playful but serious approach to his artistry. Similar to the likes of Macklemore Beck Ed Sheeran and Twenty-One Pilots his genre-blending sound appeals to those who just don’t always fit in under any specific category. Ultimately as a result of his love for Dinosaurs 90’s gangsta rap and unpopular sports he channeled his loner-life oddities into his music and creative writing. With a do-it-yourself attitude he was self-producing his music and self-directing his videos before anyone could even forget to text him back.

Dylan’s newest album, with 3 singles and music videos already released, achieved a more-than successful Vinyl fundraising campaign through Indiegogo and will be released June 1st. “In the Darkness We Can Shine” is a focused yet diverse full-length musical project written off the heels of very personal therapy sessions.

Also an ambitious video director his music video for “Untouchable” (2017) won numerous “Best Video” awards from the Independent Music Awards in New York the International Songwriting Competition the Calgary Music Awards and nominations/runner-ups from Western Canada Music Awards and the Linkin Park-sponsored Stagelight contest.
