At age 16 Emma began turning heads in 2016 after winning RBC Bluesfest’s “She’s The One” competition a Canada-wide talent search for emerging female artists. The “She’s The One” judges were captivated by Emma’s voice and her ability to deliver an emotive live performance. Emma’s renditions of “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhood and “Life of the Party” by Shawn Mendes earned her top honours along with a chance to produce her own material with Cadence Records. Her debut single “I Don’t Sleep” has surpassed 400 000 streams on Spotify since July 2017. It peaked at number 16 on the CBC Radio 2 Top 20 chart and reached number 1 on CKDJ 107.9’s first Top 10 of 2018. Since July 2018 Emma has collaborated with 5 time Juno Award Winner 5 time Canadian Classic Award Winner and Grammy Nominee Alan Frew Glass Tiger (Capitol) as well as Robyn Dell’Unto (Fontana North) Kayla Diamond (Maple Music), and Ezra Jordan. Emma is currently in the studio working with multi-platinum award wining producer Rob Wells (Sony ATV) writing and recording in Toronto for her highly anticipated debut album.
Emma is a singer songwriter pianist and guitarist and has performed at the Grassroots Festival, RBC Bluesfest, Megaphono, and numerous other festivals and top music venues throughout Ottawa, Gatineau, Montreal, Kingston, and Toronto.
She was a finalist of the “UK Songwriting Contest 2018” in the Adult Contemporary division with her original song “All for One.”
Emma is also a Factor Award and Ontario Arts Council
