Toronto’s alt rock outfit Cloverdrive was born when old acquaintances and near strangers from various parts of Ontario decided to pitch together on a rented rehearsal unit of an old converted schoolhouse in the industrial district of South Oshawa.

Cloverdrive quickly built a presence in Toronto, playing historic venues such as the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, Lee’s Palace, and The Opera House while opening for notable acts including Spoons, Sumo Cyco, One Bad Son, and The Wild. In the summer of 2017, Cloverdrive signed with Be One Music releasing their debut single “Eyeing Your Prey” shortly followed by their sophomore single “Break Free”. Upon returning from their Southern Ontario Fall Tour, the band relocated permanently to Toronto and began producing their debut EP, ‘Getaway’ set to release this Spring.

Taking inspiration from their peers in Toronto’s underground indie scene, Cloverdrive’s forthcoming ‘Getaway’ is rumored to sound considerably heavier than their previous material while still reminiscent of those melancholic 90’s alternative rock vibes reflected in their singles.
