Born in Saint-Tite in 1987, Cindy Bédard spent all her youth in her small country village. In 2005 she began to flirt more seriously with the world of music participating in numerous while performing on various stages. While working full time to earn her living she continues to compose songs and in 2013 she launches a first EP of five songs. In May 2014 with her guitar and harmonica, she delivers on Fille du vent her melodies recalling the “truck runs” with her father and the simplicity of walking in the forest. The album earned a nomination at the 2014 ADISQ Gala in the Album Country of the Year category. Two years after the release of her first album Cindy returns in autumn 2016 with Coeur Sédentaire. As part of the St-Tite Western Festival, Cindy Bédard will release her second album of ten new pure country songs. With this powerful opus, the artist was voted Female Performer of the Year at the 2016 Country Gala, an event bringing together the greatest of the country scene in addition to being nominated in the category Spectacle of the Year. Endowed with a unique charisma, a voice of her own and texts that are both profound and sensitive Cindy Bédard is a colorful and surprising singer-songwriter. The artist is currently working on her third album, which will be release by the end of 2019.
