Wasting Time is a pop punk quartet from Toronto, Canada that has been plugging away since 2017.
It all began when lead singer and guitarist, Vlad reignited his itch to perform and write songs in the winter of 2016. Already armed with a few compositions from previous years and his guitar, he set out to find a band to help him bring his music to life.
First, he found Mike to take on bass duties and occasional backup vocals. Mark would join as lead guitarist in early 2020 and Nick took over the drum stool in 2022. The band plays their brand of melodic, sonic chaos and are inspired by bands such as Alkaline Trio, No Use For A Name, and MxPx.
They’ve since released 2 albums, a couple of EPs, several singles and have shared the stage with Smoking Popes, Direct Hit, Young Rochelles, played Pouzza Fest 2022 and toured nationally. WT is currently in the studio recording a new full length album to be released in Fall 2023.
