TÖME has toured with Mr Eazi, shared the stage with African international music heavyweights; Wizkid and Burna Boy yet, she is only getting started. The Nigerian-French Canadian Singer-Songwriter born in Montreal, Canada boasts of a sonic palette that is just as diversified as her multicultural background.
In 2019, the singer quit her 9-5 and has since been on a full-time musical run — one that has seen her perform across North America, Europe and Africa.
For TÖME, the vision although driven by her art, transcends music. Her mantra — I am enough, I am TÖME serves as the creed for her hunger to empower women and position as a symbol of hope to millions across the world. A fragment of this vision manifested by way of her partnership with children-focused mental and environmental NGO, Medic NG. The pair are working to raise relief funds to support children and families in West African communities that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with food supplies.
TÖME released a 10-track album May 22nd 2020. Accommodating contributions from Runtown, Zlatan, King Promise and neo-alternative artiste Wavy The Creator. The album dubbed Bigger than 4 Walls: Chapter 2 is a sequel to her debut album, Tomesroom: Chapter 1. BT4W is a furtherance of her sonic ambitions – it embodies more sound, more colour and space than was offered in the prequel. It is genre-melding but maintains her African core, solidifying TOME as an Afro-fusion artiste.
