Piqued Jacks are pure energy. Alt/rock from Italy with an international appeal. Their successes include: opening act for Interpol, Chevellle, Balthazar and The Boomtown Rats, plays on Virgin Radio, Kerrang! Radio, SiriusXM, MTV and BBC Radio and performances during some of the best showcase festivals such as Eurosonic 2023, Linecheck, Canadian Music Week (online), MMB Bucharest, Liverpool Sound City, SXSW and Mondo NYC.
Four shows and three songs sum up their 2022 so far. They’ve performed at Summerfest “World’s Largest Festival” in Milwaukee as the first Italian act ever, as well as at Musexpo in Los Angeles, Lechlade Festival in the UK (opening for Bob Geldof’s The Boomtown Rats) and Living Rock in Romania (opening for Balthazar) being featured on Rolling Stone . Piqued Jacks released three new singles: Everything South (INRI) was presented in collaboration with Italy’s #1 funeral home Taffo, Particles (INRI) with Sony Ambassador Paolo Sodi (Andrea Bocelli, Rai) and Sunflower premiered on Billboard Italy.
Their latest album Synchronizer (INRI, March 2021) was produced by Julian Emery (Nothing But Thieves), Brett Shaw (Florence + The Machine) and Dan Weller (Enter Shikari): «made for big festivals» (Rockit), «their vision goes beyond borders» (Rumore), «irresistible» (SIAE). For the record’s release party the band did something never seen before, parachuting from a 11200ft altitude and playing the full tracklist live on the landing strip.
