Founded in 2012, Nöyze counts four members, Adrien Harvey – Lead vocals and guitar, Alexis Danetz – Lead guitar, Mat Roots – Drums, Chester – Bass. The band’s initial influences include groups such as Pink Floyd, Kings of Leon, the Beatles, etc. With these influences as a starting point, Nöyze has created a sound which is very much its own.
Their first EP was released in 2014. The same year, Nöyze was officially sponsored by Sennheiser.
Nöyze released their second album, From Here On Out, in August 2015. It is available at HMV as well as on Itunes, Spotify, Deezer, google play, Amazon music, etc.
Since 2012, Nöyze has performed hundreds of shows across Quebec and eastern Canada. Nöyze also performed several times in Ontario, in Germany (Taubertal open air festival), as well as in Mexico City, in 2012 and 2013, as part of the Faro De Oriente festival sponsored by the Mexican Ministry of Culture. In 2017, the band has also been touring Europe extensively playing in over 20 cities and 6 countries. They have once again taken the old continent by storm in the summer of 2018, playing 27 shows (festivals, theatres and clubs) in 50 days. This 15,000 km cross country tour took them to France, Germany, England, Scotland, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
Nöyze also released their 3rd studio album entitled BAD DREAMS, CLOSE REALITY in January 2018. It is available on Itunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play, as well as all other streaming platforms. In February 2018 the band was officially added to Greer Amplification’s roster of sponsored artists.
In 2019, the band band Traveled to London UK to finalise the recording of their new single CALIFORNIA SUN, getting the chance to work with renowned sound engineer Frank Arkwright at the mythical Abbey Road Studios. They then flew back to Europe for a third cross European Tour to promote said single.
In 2021, after a tumultuous few years for any musician due to covid-19, the band stayed hard at work. A new single entitled GUIDE ME is due to hit the sound waves in May of 2024.The videoclip for said single is available on our facebook page in preview for their fans and will be released on youtube officially at the time of the single’s release on all streaming platforms
