MY OWN MONEY is a Toronto-based electro-pop-rock band that delivers glistening synths, brazen saxophone and tuneful new wave hooks. Formed in 2019, MY OWN MONEY has released one studio EP and two singles, and has played venues and shows across the city, including The Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto’s Sweetery Festival, CMW 2021 and NXNE 2022. When the Horn Blows, a UK blog, calls their latest single NEW WAVE DISCO GIRL “an uplifting and infectious retro-tinged banger.” MY OWN MONEY’s newest single, PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME, is set for release in early 2023.
