Matt Kristan and Elfrida

ELFRIDA is an indie pop rock band hailing from HAMILTON and the GTA, known for their distinctive sound that merges vintage rock influences with the contemporary vibes of indie pop.
Three of the group members (Matt Kristan, Sandro Mastromatteo, and Matt Del Conte) grew up near the neighbourhood of ELFRIDA.
In 2021, Kristan released his debut EP “Letters Never Sent,” which was self-produced with bandmate Sandro. The release of the EP was a significant milestone, marking Kristan’s first official body of work. Kristan followed this up with the single “Northern Lights,” which is now available on all streaming platforms.
Kristan had the opportunity to further develop his songwriting skills by visiting Nashville. He participated in various writer’s rounds and performed at several venues and open mics in the city. Kristan released a string of singles in 2023 including the minor hit “Didn’t Even Love Me” reaching over 50k streams on Spotify alone and has been catching some attention in the city of Toronto.
Kristan along with his former bandmates has started a new project, Elfrida, looking to bring their unique pop rock sound to the public.
