Glastonbury Festival announces livestream with Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM and more

The iconic Glastonbury Festival in the UK, which draws 200,000 fans each June, has announced a livestream concert in lieu of its cancelled 2021 event.

Bluesfest ‘heartbroken’ by COVID-19 transmission & event cancellation within 24 hours of the event’s kick off.

The festival’s director, Peter Noble – who has been at the forefront of a push for the return of live music, said it was one of the most difficult statements he’d ever had to make.
