Rosanne Baker Thornley

Canadian Singer/Songwriter,
Rosanne Baker Thornley (RBT) is an internationally recognized, award-winning singer-songwriter. Based out of Toronto, she was lead vocalist and primary songwriter for Toronto based band Bakersmith, later releasing her Sony supported solo artist album “Courage”. She is currently recording her upcoming album “Sorry I’m Late”.

A true advocate for songwriting and the craft of songwriting, Rosanne writes with international emerging and established artists. Also focused on artist development, she works with emerging artists in building and establishing their brand presence, many of whom she undertakes to produce with her team. She also writes for film, tv and artist placement. She recently won the UK Songwriting Competition with “Me Without You”, a song co-written with Canadian singer-songwriters Andrew Allen and North Easton, following her 2016 UK Songwriting Competition win with “What Are We Fighting For” a song co-written and co-performed with North Easton. Rosanne is founder of THE COLLABOR8TORS, a group of eight prominent Canadian singer-songwriters – Rosanne Baker Thornley, Patrick Ballantyne, North Easton, David Leask, Dayna Manning, Ambre McLean, Blair Packham and Julian Taylor, who have undertaken to share the journey behind the C8 co-written songs. She is also Curator for the Toronto sector of The Acoustic Guitar Project, a worldwide songwriting initiative based out of New York City that is present in 50 cities globally from Tokyo to Toronto to Barcelona.
