Chris Duncombe or “Dunner” as he is better known, began his career in music in as an artist and artist manager. His career in radio started in 2000 when he joined Rogers Broadcasting to launch the Modern Rock station 104.9 Xfm in Vancouver. He quickly rose through the ranks at Rogers Media to Director of Marketing and Artist Relations and an on air personality in under one year. He was recruited by Corus Entertainment as Assistant Program Director and Music Director of Rock 101 and 99.3 The Fox in November of 2003. At that time he was also was made a national host of both Budweiser Radio and the Corus Radio World Album Premiere Series for Deep Sky Entertainment. In the fall of 2004 Chris was promoted to Program Director of 99.3 The Fox and in 2006 Director of Interactive Media for Corus Radio Vancouver. He has programmed the Alternative Rock Channel for the Galaxie Network and still remains one of the youngest senior major market program directors in the country. In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Program Director of 99.3 The Fox and Vancouver’s legendary Classic Rock 101.

Dunner joined the Global TV BC Morning News team as Music Correspondent in 2011also hosts “The Mentor Sessions”, with Executive Producer Gggarth Richardson. Like “Inside the Actors Studio” for the Music Industry, “The Mentor Sessions” sees Dunner interview the biggest names in the Music Industry before a live studio audience at the Nimbus School of Recording Arts. Recent guests include producers Bob Ezrin, Joe Baressi, Ralph James, Chris Shaw, Mike McCarty, Sam Feldman, and more.

Dunner has been credited for launching multiple acts nationally on Canadian Radio, is a BDS Cutting Edge Music Award winner and multiple CMW Music Director of the year winner. He is an executive board member of the Canadian Music Therapy Ride and Curriculum Development board for BCIT Radio and New Media programs.
