Liana White is the Executive Director of the Canadian Federation of Musicians. White has worked for the CFM [then AFM Canada] since 1996, starting as the CFM as the Artist Immigration Administrator.

Now having provided nearly 20 years of cross border related services to musicians, White has become recognized within the music industry as an authority on the legal requirements for musicians performing in the United States and Canada as temporary workers.

White’s vast artist-immigration experience is often called upon by mainstream media and music industry associations. Highlighting only some of White’s recognition and achievements: her articles and experience have been featured in Canadian Musician and Songwriters magazines; she has been interviewed by CBC radio, Global TV and for CIRRA’s educational series: The New Indie [vol. II, and, III not yet released]. White has also conducted many workshops and panels for many music industry associations and conferences across Canada.
