Coordinator,
Reel Music Supervision
Calabasas, CA, USA
Scenery Samundra is an LA-based Music Supervisor and Coordinator at Reel Music SuperVision, working with Robin Urdang on award winning shows such as ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ ‘Broad City,’ the Netflix reboot of ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’, Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming miniseries for HBO, ‘We Are Who We Are’ and a variety of independent films.

Scenery grew up in the punk scene of the San Francisco bay area, seeking out underground artists, attending countless shows and immersing herself in DIY culture. During her college years at UC Davis, she hosted a weekly radio show on KDVS and served as the station Music Director and Program Director, before moving to LA to work for independent record label, Tru Thoughts. While living in LA, she became fascinated with the field of film music, and went to work with the Sundance Institute’s Film Music Program where she worked alongside composers, filmmakers and music supervisors and began to understand the process of putting music to picture. Previously, she worked as a freelance music journalist, publicist and producer at NTS Radio’s LA headquarters, as well as a consultant for David Lynch’s inaugural Festival of Disruption.
