Originally from Vancouver, Patrick North has been working in NYC since 2010 when he moved to head up Australian label Modular Recordings’ North American operation. There he led campaigns for Grammy Award nominated acts including Tame Impala and Cut Copy, while developing his own boutique label and management company, Acéphale. After leaving Modular in 2015, Patrick joined the Domino Recording Company, where he worked with bands including Hot Chip, Julia Holter, and Bob Moses. In 2016, North began his present role of US Label Head for XL Recordings, home to established acts including Radiohead and Adele, as well as developing artists such as Kaytranada and Arca.
