Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe

CBC Music
Toronto, ON, Canada
Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe graduated with honours from the RTA program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Soon after graduating, Angeline joined Mix 96 and K-ROCK in Edmonton, Alberta, where she filled in as the promo and morning show producer while also hosting the overnight radio program. From there, she relocated to Calgary to be a part of the new rhythmic CHR station VIBE 98.5 which would eventually become 985 Virgin Radio. Angeline took their evening show to the #1 program in the market.

An offer to join the team at FLOW 935 hosting the midday program brought Angeline to Toronto. After the station was sold and rebranded to 935 THE MOVE, Angeline began freelancing at CBC Radio 2 (now CBC Music). She officially joined CBC as host of Weekend Mornings in September 2016 and can now also be heard on CBC Music Top 20, Canada Live!, This is My Music and My Playlist. Angeline is also a regular guest host of the award-winning CBC Radio One program As It Happens, as well as hosting duties for the CBC original podcast Someone Knows Something.

Outside the CBC studios, Angeline gives back to the industry by serving as the Allan Slaight Distinguished Broadcaster in Residence for the RTA program at Ryerson University, lending a hand as an industry expert, teacher, guide and mentor for the entire FCAD program and the university. In this role, she provides valuable feedback and direction for students looking to pursue opportunities in radio as well as podcasting and voice over. She meets one-on-one with students participating in RTA classes, sits in on industry panels as well as creates and conducts workshops and lectures.

In what little spare time she has, Angeline is a voice actor, DJ, singer, an all-around creative and mother!
