Becca Hess

Executive Director,
Rockin’ River Music Fest
Merritt, BC, Canada
Growing up in a professional music family, west coast performer Becca Hess is coming into her own, and claiming her place as an up-and-coming artist beginning to make a mark. Becca’s influences are classic – and so is she – but her sound is all her own. With her feet firmly planted in country roots, but an eclectic, fresh and organic approach, Becca’s big, rich voice and compelling performances have been steadily winning over fans throughout western Canada, and her songs are beginning to find an audience all the way to the east coast.

While Becca leaves no doubt she is first and foremost a gifted artist, Becca has also had a life filled with the flip side of the music industry. She has been an integral part of the Rockin’ River Music Fest in Merritt, BC since it's inception and has worked her way from the bottom rungs to the top of the ladder in 9 short years.

As the Executive Director of the festival she has been involved in almost every aspect of the show. She is the primary contact for all artist relations as well as scheduling and talent purchasing. Not only does she play a key role overseeing the day to day operations year round but she is also is the first set of boots on the ground during the event. With her company KHP Productions, Becca has built a professional reputation working with artists like Big & Rich, Snoop Dogg, Billy Talent, Dwight Yoakam, Alice Cooper and Merle Haggard to name a few.

With far more experience than her years would lead you to believe, Becca’s life has revolved around the stage; spending all her time either behind it or on it has given her a unique insight and a professional edge. This industry background has only served to further hone her musical chops, and help to develop the poise, passion and sense of ownership she brings to every performance she delivers."
