Rick Mueller serves as President of AEG Presents North America. His responsibilities include oversight of AEG Presents’ fifteen regional offices on matters of programming, operations, and development of new business ventures. AEG Presents’ North American division produces over 10,000 shows annually grossing in excess of $900 million. Throughout his tenure at the company, he has helped acquire or develop venues including the Santa Barbara Bowl, the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and the Iconic Agora Theatre in Cleveland. In addition to setting the booking strategy for AEG Present’s regional offices, he has worked on national touring projects with Artists such as Hall & Oates, Tear For Fears, Avicii, and Enrique Iglesias.

Prior to joining AEG Presents in 2008, Rick managed the concert operations for Live Nation in California. During his tenure he oversaw the restoration of the classic Hollywood Palladium and revitalized the concert programming and attendance at the iconic Universal Amphitheater.

Rick started his career working for the legendary San Francisco concert promotions company, Bill Graham Presents. He was responsible for programming hundreds of concerts annually, booking BGP’s arena, amphitheater and stadium shows across the Bay Area. He worked closely with artists including Green Day, Radiohead, Bruce Springsteen, and Beyoncé.

Mueller began promoting concerts while he was a student at U.C. Santa Barbara. During his college career he interned for Coachella founder Paul Tollett at Goldenvoice.
