Lisa Love has spent the past 13 years telling the stories of Georgia music and place via successive roles at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, first as director of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, then as head of music marketing in the Georgia Film Office and now in her role as Division Director of Tourism. Favorite projects during her tenure include having curated exhibits about Gram Parsons and Otis Redding, shepherding the Georgia music issue of Oxford American magazine and developing the 2016 Year of Georgia Music tourism campaign. Lisa also manages the non-profit Georgia Music Foundation, produces the annual "Gretsch Presents Georgia On My Mind" benefit concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and hosts “Grits Ain’t Groceries: The Georgia Music Show,” a weekly show on the Macon-based Americana radio station The Creek.
