He is currently the artistic director of Festival Nrmal and NODO.TV, and formerly part of the programming team in MUTEK MX Festival, where he also developed MUTEK_LAB, a segment dedicated to academic interaction and knowledge exchange. OFFF México, a festival focused on the post-digital culture; Distrital Film Festival and All My Friends Music Festival in Tijuana are also part of his work as a producer. Alfonso has university studies in marketing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Business Management by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona during that period he was artistic coordinator in Mercat de Música Viva de Vic Festival.
