David Fish

Publishing & Sync Manager,
Metropolis Music Publishing
David started off studying composition and commercial production at the London Institute of Contemporary Music. Being a young producer and student in London’s iconic music scene fuelled a passion for A&R and Supervision.

After landing a management role working with taste making UK acts such as Pablo Nouvelle (Armada/Black Butter) and Sailor & I (Life and Death Recs/Black Butter), David was then brought into the labels team at Metropolis Records London. His time there saw him involved in project managing releases for acts such as Public Enemy, George Clinton, Kelis and Jessie Andrews.

In 2014 Metropolis announced the creation of its new publishing division Metropolis Music Publishing ltd. Reporting to ex Imagem manager Rupert Hollier, David took up his role as Publishing and Sync Manager. With MMP already establishing itself as a frontline industry vehicle, his day to day work involves managing the development and creative fulfilment of all acts signed to MMP, creatively exploiting all works, from pitching cuts to labels to servicing music supervisors and consultants across the world for sync placements in feature films, TV/broadcast and video games. MMP is also the only UK publisher to be active music supervisors.
