Tim Arnold

Singer/Songwriter,Composer & Producer,
Tim Arnold
London, UK
Tim Arnold began his career as front man of 90s Britpop band Jocasta. Since then he's released 13 solo albums, composed for Shakespeare’s Globe, The Almeida Theatre and collaborated with artists such as Michael Nyman, Marc Almond, Gary Kemp and Benedict Cumberbatch.

In the UK, Tim is widely recognized as the first solo artist to write and release a concept album about London’s Soho. The album, The Soho Hobo received the BBC LONDON RECORD OF THE YEAR for 2015.

“The concept album about Soho that Ray Davies never wrote" The Daily Express

The release of the album and its live shows at Soho Theatre coincided with the loss of music venues in London that have been disappearing at an alarming rate. This led Tim to create the Save Soho campaign with actors Stephen Fry and Benedict Cumberbatch. The campaign raises awareness about Soho’s historic role as a national platform for bands and emerging performers.

Singer songwriter, front-man, muti-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and more recently, campaigner, Tim is a maverick solo artist whose work stretches the imagination and defies the pigeonholes.
