Omar Lozano is the Music Industry Marketing Manager for Visit Austin. Serving as a liaison for the Austin music community and the tourism and hospitality industry, Omar creates marketing programs and campaigns to promote Austin as the Live Music Capital of the World® internationally. Previously, Omar ran music marketing programs for Red Bull North America, and has created experiential brand event campaigns for big music and art moments around the U.S., such as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Art Basel, Voodoo Experience, and SXSW. Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Omar was also on the founding team for Neon Desert Music Festival, now one of the largest festivals in the Southwest U.S.
