Licensing & Synchronisation Manager,
Simon has spent ten years working in music for the commercial division of the BBC following fifteen at a range of Major and Indie labels including EMI and Ministry Of Sound. He is responsible for a catalogue of over 1 million recordings at the BBC by most major artists stretching back to the 1920’s and deals with all record labels to ensure access to these for CD, LP, download and streaming releases. As well he heads up synchronisation efforts to make these unique recordings available for use on film, TV, adverts, computer games and so forth. As such his role gives him contacts across a wide range of the music and media industries globally and insight into the ever more important interstices between the two.
