BAFTA award-winning and Billboard / MTV VMA nominated Danish composer Jesper Kyd is renowned for creating unique scores with a diverse array of live instrumentation and manipulated sounds. His original soundtracks feature an immersive blend of styles ranging from the epic symphonic and dark, hybrid scores for the HITMAN series (British Academy Award for Original Music) recorded with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian Radio Choir and anthemic choral score for cult favorite FREEDOM FIGHTERS (“Vangelis on steroids” – Film Score Monthly), to his iconic period scores for Ubisoft’s blockbuster franchise ASSASSIN’S CREED (“Jesper Kyd defines the series for fans around the world” – Official PlayStation Magazine) and the post-apocalyptic, fantasy, sci-fi themes of STATE OF DECAY, DARKSIDERS 2, and BORDERLANDS series. Kyd also scored the Chinese #1 box office fantasy/sci-fi feature CHRONICLES OF THE GHOSTLY TRIBE, based on the best-selling Chinese novel ‘Ghost Blows Out The Light’ and directed by Lu Chuan (‘City of Life and Death’, ‘The Last Supper’). Most recently he composed and produced the Norse mythology inspired tribal acoustic score for WARHAMMER: VERMINTIDE 2, based on the popular Games Workshop fantasy universe, and atmospheric guitar and analog synth score for Microsoft/Undead Labs’ highly anticipated zombie survival sequel STATE OF DECAY 2 releasing in 2018.
