Benjamin Dorenfeld

Associate Music Producer,
Grey Worldwide
New York, NY, USA
Ben Dorenfeld immersed himself in music at an early age, promoting and performing at local punk rock shows in the Boston area where he grew up. He later incorporated these skills at Skidmore College, as president of the Student Entertainment Committee and program director for WSPN, Skidmore's student-‐run college radio station. In his tenure, he produced several live events including Ghostface Killah, Phantogram, and Ra Ra Riot.

After college, Ben moved to New York City, where he pursued a career in live entertainment at talent agency International Creative Management (ICM), home to Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and Boyz II Men. He later left to join the newly established Inland Empire Touring, a joint venture with Sub Pop Records, which oversees the live careers of artists including Modest Mouse, Fred Armisen, and Dam-‐ Funk.

Ben transitioned into the world of advertising in 2013 as a music producer at Grey NY. Today, he is responsible for music production and supervision on several of Grey’s accounts. He has recently supervised music for an international Pringles campaign, produced music for Grey NY’s first campaign with Volvo, and produced music for Pantene’s “Not Sorry” spot, which has gained international attention and was awarded Ad of the Day on Adweek.
