Mark founded the Canadian Sponsorship Forum in 2005 and he actively presides as Chair. With over 20 years’ experience in marketing, sponsorship and brand activation, Mark’s passion is rooted in creating ownable properties for clients, such as BMO Team of the Week. He has been instrumental in strategic planning and conceptualizing for TrojanOne clients such as BMO, Coca-Cola, Mattel, Nike and OLG.

Under Mark’s direction, the agency has flourished at creating meaningful brand conversations with consumers, winning its share of awards along the way.

In 2013, TrojanOne received a gold PROMO! Award for the Sun Life Grey Cup Fan March (Best Pop-up Activation) and gold at the Event Technology Awards for the Hot Wheels Camaro-matic Trending Machine (Best Use of Twitter) to add to the trophy case.

An accomplished speaker, Mark has shared his expertise with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance conference, at London’s Foundation for Social Improvement Forum and at the world-renowned International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands.

He has also volunteered his sponsorship knowledge with a variety of not-for-profit organizations, currently sitting on the inaugural program advisory committee for the Sports, Entertainment & Arts Event graduate certificate program at Seneca College. In his “free time,” Mark coaches youngsters on three football teams and serves as the trainer for a minor bantam select hockey team.
