Chris Denson

Head of Creative Solutions,

Chris Denson currently serves as Head of Creative Solutions for Machinima, where he leads several creative business opportunities focused on the cross-roads of brand integration, content creation, business development, audience engagement, and talent development. For the past 15 years, he has been pursuing forward-thinking combinations of media, technology, marketing, production and multi-platform consumer engagement. Throughout his career, he's has worked across a wide spectrum of products, services, CPG's, entertainment properties, and educational outlets.

One of his primary roles was a stint as producer and marketing executive with the American Film Institute's Digital Content Lab, working with major studios, film makers, gaming agencies, non-profits, mobile companies, networks, technologists, etc, creating new interactive storytelling models. Later, through his own consultancy he developed and executed digital as well as brick-and-mortar brand programs for organizations like Sony, Comic-Con, Von Dutch, Intel, Miles Regis, The Venice Biennale (Italy), Interscope Records and a few others. In 2010, he helped launch Jigsaw Global, an digital media training organization, producing a 2-day workshop for the Sundance Film Festival. Later he joined the Regan Group where he served as Director of Innovation - leading idea building, strategy, and resource development across a multitude of initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has lead many multi-platform strategies for local and international organizations in efforts to find ways to further engage and empower their constituencies. A brief list includes Remedee.org, T.R.U.S.T. South LA, the Victor Pineda Foundation, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, Manifest Equality, and the Miracle Mile Art Walk. He has been a guest speaker and curator for organizations like Loyola Marymount University, the Walter Kaitz Foundation, Social Media Week, LA Start Up Weekend, UCLA, The National Association of Broadcasters, and several others. Most recently, he joined a team in Kenya as a media and communications adviser to a 6-day conference hosted by the African Youth with Disabilities Network, an organization representing over 1.3 Million citizens in the region, and even more in 3rd world countries around the globe.
