Denise Jones is President of Jones & Jones Productions Ltd., a Multi-Service Corporation, specializing in Artist, Entertainment and Event Management.
With over 27 years’ experience, the attendance at Jones & Jones’ events range from
2-45,000 and include JAMBANA™ One World Festival, one of largest diverse events in Canada. 11th anniversary is August 4th h and 5th , 2019, in two cities; Brampton and Toronto.
Denise helms the Management team for Exco Levi, who has won five JUNO Awards and has been nominated 7 times. Denise is the founding Chair of the Reggae Category for the JUNO Awards. Jones & Jones is a member of the Canadian Federation of Musicians. She has worked with JUNO winners Nana Mclean, Carla Marshall and Blessed.
Denise sits on the Advisory Board of TD Toronto Jazz Festival and lectures on Festival and Concert Management at Ryerson University.
Denise has earned Gold for music marketing - Bob Marley – Chant Down Babylon. Called one of The Toronto Star’s “People to watch”, leader and trailblazer, Denise is an engaging speaker and an entertaining event host. In 2014 Denise received Canada’s prestigious Harry Jerome Award for Entertainment.
Denise was President of Obsidian Theatre and produced over 50 plays in the Canada. She served as VP Education and VP Marketing of CanSPEP - Canadian Association of Special Event Planners. She is the first African Canadian to sit on the Board of Brampton Board of Trade, is a member of the Jamaica Diaspora Canada Foundation and sits on the board of Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation Canada which has raised over $1,000,000 in 12 years and built schools across Jamaica.
Jones & Jones produced the JONES & JONES Talent Search won by first African Canadian School Principal Thando Hyman. Participants included Jully Black and K-os. Her company staged JAMBANA™ Canadian Reggae Showcase in August 2017, and 2018 Canadian reggae artists showcased – three females including one from Quebec. Producers from Jamaica, New York and Germany watched and met with Canadian reggae talent.

Bob Marley’s I Threes Marcia Griffiths, Judy Mowatt and Rita Marley, Maxi Priest, Hugh
