Lindsay Ell is a born and raised Calgarian – born with the Calgary Stampede in her blood. She began with the Stampede organization in her teens as a member of the Young Canadians, and joined the staff of the prestigious performing arts school at age 19. In 2006, she joined the Programming Department and began her 8 year (ongoing) journey, programming the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

Lindsay has been the Programming Production Manager for the past 3 years, and has been a part of, and lead the entertainment team to win such prestigious awards as the Canadian Country Music Award for Country Festival of the year in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and, with her colleague Roderick Tate, the Ron Sakamoto Award for Talent Buyer of the Year from the CCMA’s in 2012. Lindsay continues to lead the entertainment team at the Stampede, in the buying and programming of all talent for the Coca-Cola Stage, Nashville North, and dozens of other stages and events throughout the calendar year. Lindsay holds her Bachelor of Music from the University of Calgary, and is an active member of the Calgary, Alberta, and Canadian Music Industry.
