Australian lap-slide guitarist and roots troubadour Pat Tierney brings an eclectic and captivating musical experience to everything he touches. Taking influence from the likes of Bob Dylan, Harry Manx and Ben Harper, Pat’s music dances between folk, blues, roots and soul. A true songwriter and poet, Pat brings an old school approach with modern tales of love, loss, hope and social justice. Blending his signature slide guitar sound with acoustic guitar to create a deep and resonant sound.

Over the past 18 months, Pat has toured across Australia with the likes of Aussie rock legend Russell Morris, roots reggae lords The Beautiful Girls and good friends Bobby Alu to name a few. In that time Pat has also featured at iconic festivals such as Queenscliff Music Festival & Delamere Music Festival in Tasmania as well as debut performances in The United States.

Pat’s brand new album ‘Red Moon’ launched in September 2019 to National success across Australia with a 15 show tour, high rotation across radio and media as well as a number of sold-out shows. To celebrate the success of Pat’s sophomore album, he will be embarking on his first North American tour in May & June of 2020.

“Opening up the night was North Coast slide guitarist Pat Tierney. Admittedly not knowing any of his tracks going into the night, Tierney was tight and accomplished as he brought his brand of roots to those starting their Friday night early. Closing on a stellar cover of the Paul Simon classic “Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes”, I’d definitely look at investing some time into discovering Pat Tierney”
