Lew Dickey is Chairman & CEO of Cumulus Media. He co-founded the company in 1997 and has built the company through over 150 separate transactions to become the second largest radio broadcasting company in America. With the recently announced Westwood One acquisition, Cumulus will own and operate 460 stations in 96 U.S. markets as well as a radio network serving over 10,000 stations nationwide. The company’s platform reaches over 225 million people per month. Cumulus employs over 7000 people with revenue of $1.2 billion. The company is traded on NASDAQ: ticker symbol CMLS.

Prior to co-founding Cumulus, Lew founded Stratford Research in 1985 and built the company into a leading provider of market research and strategy consulting to the radio and television industries. He is also the author of The Franchise - Building Radio Brands, published by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in 1994 and is regarded as one of the industry's leading texts on competition and strategy. Lew holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in English Literature from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard. He currently serves on the NAB Board of Directors.
