Susan Marjetti

Susan Marjetti is the executive director of radio and audio for CBC English Services.

Marjetti has been with Canada's public broadcaster in various roles over the past three decades.

An award winning journalist, and programmer, Susan is an innovative leader, and a passionate champion of diversity.

Prior to taking the reins of the CBC radio network in August, Susan was the Sr. Managing Director of Toronto and the Ontario Region.

As director of Toronto local radio, she ushered in changes aimed at better reflecting and connecting Canada's most multicultural city, and her vision resulted in CBC Toronto's Metro Morning program taking top spot in the market 76 times.

In addition to her many awards for journalism, her leadership has resulted in numerous accolades and honors including the inaugural Innoversity Outstanding leadership award in 2012, and the Black Business Professionals Association / National Harry Jerome Award for leadership in diversity in Canada in 2014.

She is a graduate of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts program and last Fall she was inducted into the Ryerson RTA / School of Media 'Wall of Fame' for her 'significant' contributions to media in Canada.
