He is involved with corporate negotiations, creating, identifying and delivering innovation, developing & implementing purchasing philosophies and go-to-market strategies, providing market insight and forecasting, managing group P&Ls, training staff, new business development, authoring any agency press or position regarding the radio and audio industries, providing agency counsel/resource regarding radio and audio trends and effects of the new technologies.

He is active in the industry as a member of the BES board of directors. He has been a member of BBM’s “Radio Executive Committee” for so long that he is now on a short sabbatical to conform to their charter bylaws on time served, he is Past Chair of BBM’s “Radio Technical Committee” and a past member of Numeris’ PPM, Audit and combined data base committees.

He is a contributor to Strategy and Marketing magazines and has been a speaker or panel member at CMW (Canadian Music Week), the OAB (Ontario Association of Broadcasters), Corus Executive Management, NewCap Sales Management and CHUM Group Radio Sales Management conferences. He has lectured on radio at Ryerson and Centennial College and has been a guest instructor for the ICA and the RMB for their “Introduction to radio courses”.

Dave got into radio, albeit on the agency side because of his love of music.
