Annie Laflamme has been working for the Federal public service for more than 25 years. She worked for the Canadian Department of Agriculture where she managed, among other things, the secretariat of a Board of Arbitration. In 1997, she joined the Broadcasting Policy Branch at the CRTC as a policy analyst. From 2000 to 2006, she was a manager in the International Affairs Branch at Canadian Heritage responsible for broadcasting files. She came back to the CRTC in August 2007 and occupied, until August 2009, the position of Director for the French-language television market. She became the Director of the Radio Directorate in 2009 where she is overseeing radio operations and policies as well as the compliance monitoring of the sector.
