He worked on air in Top 40 radio at CKOC in Hamilton, CFUN, CFOX and did talk at CKNW Vancouver. He hosted variety shows on CBC TV and BCTV. Rich wrote and was nominated for a Gemini and Canadian Comedy Award for the hit political series Double Exposure. Most recently he has developed several TV projects for CBC TV and The Comedy Network with writing partner and double Gemini winner Patrick McKenna.

Rich and long time friend and work associate Ryan Stiles from Whose Line Is It Anyway, Drew Carey and Two and a Half Men shot a half hour sitcom pilot for the CBC called Memory Lanes.

Rich continues to develop TV projects, writes and produces the live show that stars the cast from Whose Line Is It Anyway called Whose Live Anyway.

In addition to all of this he has developed a simple and effective syllabus and program for instructing morning radio shows how to correctly and efficiently use the comedy toolbox. Rich has worked with morning shows across Canada on better performance, writing and the proper way to present and execute clever, well crafted and original comedy. He has several success stories in that realm!

He is the only person in North America who does in depth comedy instruction for Morning Radio Personalities and he does it in a casual, non-judgmental manner that embellishes their art and makes it easy for them to become better comedy performers at any level of radio experience.
