Originating from Bordeaux, then a Paris Audiovisual Superior School graduate, Adrien Simonnet has worked as an A&R manager, project manager, producer, press officer for companies such as Warner Chappell, M6 television, Wagram Music and several Parisian indie labels, before being responsible for the Media business development & the Sync Music Licensing Dept. of the French Music Export Office, which manages a network of almost 1000 Medias worldwide, including over 100 online magazines, 700 radio stations such as RSR Switzerland, KCRW Los Angeles, RS2 Germany, Oryx FM Qatar, Radio Canada, NHK Tokyo, WUWF Pensacola, and over 200 music supervisors. Adrien is an experienced and motivated professional with over 10 years of relevant industry experience, six of them specifically in international Ad/Film/TV licensing with special focus on creative pitching, clearance, negotiation and execution. Because of its long-standing relationships with the 4 major record companies and hundreds of indie labels & publishers in France, Adrien has access to all music out from this corner of the world. Besides, his extensive musical knowledge and taste for finding creative licensing solutions for complex footages have endeared him to be trusted by the north American & UK’s most innovative agency producers and famous music supervisors to assist with music searches. He also runs a consultancy for labels and publishers based outside Europe who need help and advice on song placement.
