Keynote Interview & Panel Discussion

The A&R Panel

There are A&R stars... and then there’s Pete Ganbarg. At age 30, Ganbarg hit a historic home run for Arista Records and his new boss, Clive Davis. His baby: the 28 million-seller Carlos Santana album Supernatural – effectively the greatest comeback in industry history (Santana hadn’t had a gold record in 15 years). Today he’s head of A&R for Atlantic Records, signing artists and bringing in projects to the label ranging from Twenty One Pilots to the Origianl Broadway Cast Recording of Hamilton. He also oversees the A&R staff and the overall A&R direction of the label. After his keynote, Ganbarg will join a panel of A&R all-stars who’ll talk about their career triumphs, and – if they feel humble – about the ones that got away.
