Although Calgary's PORT JUVEE (formerly BLEACHERS) have a style equally indebted between California and New York City, the Canadian Prairies is where they decide to call home. The 5-piece run a sound that seamlessly clips summer carelessness together with the cynicism of the city through bright guitar leads, baritone style vocals and a pounding rhythm section.
In just over one year, PORT JUVEE has seen their first national tour, extensive charting of the BLEACHERS EP throughout Canada, won $25,000 in X92.9fm Calgary's Xposure contest, played the 2013 X-Fest, Sled Island and CMW festivals, have become the voice of Herschel Supply Co's Spring 2014 worldwide advertising campaign, and have opened shows for Death From Above 1979, Weezer, Hollerado, Passion Pit, DIIV and many more.
