In 2011 Quiet Company spent the majority of their time writing & recording their most ambitious & thought provoking album to date, "We Are All Where We Belong." In late summer they were approached by Grooveshark & signed to their new Artist Development program. Since July 1st, Quiet Company has garnered a global audience, thanks to their partnership with Grooveshark. Quiet Company's Facebook fans jumped from 2,800 in July to 30,000 by Thanksgiving & their video for "Fear & Fallacy, Sitting in a Tree" reached over 100,000 plays in under 3 months. Quiet Company is averaging well over 50,000 song plays a day on Grooveshark alone all across the globe.
In October, Quiet Company released their new album, "We Are All Where We Belong" which received the best reviews & response the band has earned to date. They were invited to play Deluna Fest in Florida as well as CMJ in New York.
Quiet Company was chosen as a Deluna Fest Spotlight Artist and was featured on an episode of Last Call with Carson Daly.
In Febuary 2012, Quiet Company started a national video & college radio campaign for their single, ""You, Me & the Boatman" which was quickly added by over 30 college radio stations across the country. By SXSW, "You, Me & the Boatman" had reached over 200,000 views on Youtube (now over
SXSW 2012 was huge for Quiet Company. They were listed as one of NPR's Bands to Watch in 2012 (http://n.pr/yCVhFp) and also listed as one of 5 Buzzworthy Bands to Watch at SXSW 2012 by Time Magazine (http://ti.me/xSajsf).
On 3/14 Quiet Company performed at the Austin Music Awards & walked away with 10 Awards, shattering the record for most awards won in a year.

Quiet Company finished 2012 with a performance at the 2012 Austin City Limits Music Festival and a sold-out showcase at CMJ 2012. They toured throughout the mid-west & North East US between September & October before returning to Austin to record & release their Christmas EP, "Winter is Coming," which they released in December and followed it up with a tour of Holiday House Shows all around Texas.
2013 looks to be Quiet Company's most ambitious year yet: they will release 3 records in a year. In March, they will release "A Dead Man on My Back: Shine Honesty Revisited," a fresh new take on their 2006 album, which they have re-recorded & remastered from the ground up.
Spring 2013 will see the release of the "Are You A Mirror?" E.P. and the band will begin work immediately on a new full-length album to be released sometime in the winter of 2013.
In between all of the recording, Quiet Company will play SXSW 2013, Canadian Music Fest 2013 & tour the US, with a primary focus on the Midwest & Northeast & Southeast US markets.
