Janet has been with Sony/ATV for over 15 years, and has been involved in various facets of Synchronization licensing throughout her tenure. Janet has negotiated and licensed numerous national TV advertising campaigns, including Volvo, Hyundai, Ford, GM, Manulife Financial, Molson, Labatts, Coors and Telus. She was instrumental in licensing the music for the worldwide advertising campaign “Little Girls” for Dove’s “Campaign For Real Beauty”, which received several advertising awards. Janet has also worked on many Canadian and US television shows, including most recently “Being Erica”, “The Wild Roses”, and “Rabbit Fall” and with our US office has placed Canadian music in “90210”, “Scrubs” and “The Hills” to name a few. She has placed also many songs in videogame projects as well, including games for “Ubisoft” and “EA Sports”.

She has a background education in Music Industry Management, Artist Management and Music Publishing, and in addition to her Film and TV work she is also responsible for the Administration of Sony/ATV’s worldwide catalogue in Canada and ensures that Sony/ATV’s Canadian roster is administered correctly throughout the World.
