Daniel Glass is Founder/President of Glassnote Entertainment Group, a full service independent music company that began in 2007. Glassnote Entertainment Group is a world wide company with offices around the globe.

Glassnote is the proud home to Grammy Award winning Phoenix, Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum selling Mumford & Sons, The Temper Trap, Two Door Cinema Club, GIVERS, Childish Gambino, Oberhofer, Daughter, Little Green Cars, Robert DeLong, Half Moon Run, CHVRCHES, Flight Facilities, Panama Wedding, Jeremy Messersmith, Justin Nozuka, Foy Vance, Flo Morrissey, HOLYCHILD and Tor Miller. In 2011, Rolling Stone Magazine named Glassnote “Best Indie Label.” Billboard followed in 2012 and 2013, naming Glassnote “#1 Independent Label” both years.

Daniel began his musical career as a DJ at the famed Regine's Discotheque in New York City. He went on to SAM Records and continued at Chrysalis, then SBK Records. Daniel’s path in music led him to become President/CEO of EMI Records Group N.A., a founding President of Universal Records and President of Artemis Records before eventually starting Glassnote. Daniel Glass's career in the music industry has been marked by such success stories as artists Billy Idol, Wilson Phillips, Sinead O'Connor, Blur, Jesus Jones, Erykah Badu, The Pretenders, Pat Benatar — just to name a few! In 2013, Daniel was named as MUSExpo’s ‘International Music Person of the Year’ and SESAC honored Daniel as the 2013 ‘Music Visionary of the Year.’ Daniel was also featured as one of ‘Pop’s Top Hitmakers’ by Hollywood Reporter and part of Billboard’s ‘Power 100’ in 2013. Daniel, an avid runner, has completed 20 New York Marathons and ran the Boston Marathon in 2010. Daniel is a Founding Board member of LIFEbeat, the music industry’s AIDS organization, the Vice President of the New York Music For Youth Foundation, a Vice Chair of the UJA Federation of New York, a Board Member of the Brooklyn College Foundation and a Board Member for the T.J. Martell Foundation.
