With over 30 years of success in media and marketing, Shawn has worked with countless companies in the United States and Canada, growing brands and revenues.

In 2003, Smith formed Momentum Media Marketing, Inc., providing full service marketing agency for media brands and vendors to the broadcast industry. In 2016, Momentum acquired Canada's trade publication, Broadcast Dialogue and in 2017 launched Momentum Media Networks by merging the business of Canada's SparkNetworks.

Previously Shawn worked with Jones Radio Networks, the largest independent audio programming and services company in the United States, as Director of Marketing and was responsible for the branding, positioning, and merchandising of the company's 116 programs and services, serving 5000 American broadcast stations.

Shawn started his career as an on-air personality with CHUM Ltd. and later managed radio syndication for Rogers Media. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in marketing from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
